With the DB9 to DB9/DC power distributor, you can supply your CAN logger with power via a socket, a battery or a cigarette lighter socket, for example. The DC socket plug is 5.5 mm (ID, inner diameter) x 2.1 mm (CPD, centre pin diameter) as standard.
The adapter is ideal for test setups, machine logging or vehicles where no power is provided via the DB9 connection (or where you prefer not to use the CAN bus power supply).
