Atten ST-1016 solder fume extraction

The soldering fume extractor is used to extract soldering fumes at the soldering workplace in order to avoid inhaling the harmful soldering fumes and to filter the soldering fumes from the air. The soldering fume extractor works with easily replaceable activated carbon filters.

Soldering work produces soldering fumes that are classified as harmful. Since the introduction of lead-free solders with the associated higher soldering temperatures, it is particularly the more aggressive fluxes that cause these harmful and annoying fumes. Solder fume extractors are therefore urgently recommended by the professional associations as well as by the Institute for Occupational Safety of the BfA.
