Description

The CANedge is ideal for long-term logging of CAN/LIN data in the field - often over several weeks, months or years. For such applications, a secure and robust device installation is crucial.

You can use the standard screws to install the device on flat surfaces. The semi-circular flanges allow for quick insertion/removal as you only need to remove the screws on one side of the device.

For short-term installations, you can also consider using cable ties or 3M hook and loop tape to install the CANedge.

The CANedge is often used as a "black box" for long-term or permanent installation in vehicles. For such applications, you can reduce the effects of vibrations by using vibration dampers. This also ensures basic galvanic isolation of the device.
