Description
Unlike a conventional multimeter, the TH2554 is designed as a modular multi-channel data acquisition system with Linux OS and touchscreen that can simultaneously measure dozens to hundreds of channels, log data at high speed and integrate automated test sequences via SCPI/remote control. A normal multimeter, on the other hand, is designed for single point, manual measurements, offers fewer channels, less memory and limited automation options. This makes the TH2554 ideal when many measuring points in parallel, continuous logging and system connection are required, while a standard multimeter is sufficient for simple, sporadic tests.The TH2554 is a high-precision, highly stable multi-channel data logger with 7″ colour touchscreen, Linux OS and five module slots for DMM and multiplex modules, suitable for extensive measurement and logging tasks with automation requirements.
