The Promira LabVIEW driver is a free, open-source LabVIEW instrument driver for accessing the Promira Serial Platform within the LabVIEW development environment. The driver package is aimed at Windows.

This driver is based on the Promira software library and offers all the functionality normally available to a C language developer. Detailed documentation on the functionality of the Promira API can be found in the Promira Serial Platform User Manual.

The Promira LabVIEW driver is provided free of charge to Total Phase customers. Although completeness and functionality has been verified, no detailed support for the Promira LabVIEW driver is provided by Total Phase. With this in mind, any developer familiar with LabVIEW will find that the Promira LabVIEW Driver is fairly easy to integrate into a LabVIEW design. In addition, the driver can be modified by end users to accommodate potential customizations.
