Description
The STSLCP10 Lab CAN Pro is a compact CAN interface for laboratory and development applications. It features a D-Sub 9 (DB9) CAN interface, robust automotive I/O, and ESD and overvoltage protection. Designed specifically for test and integration environments, the device supports GPIO triggering and comprehensive software tools for logging and analysis.
Features
- CAN connector: D-Sub 9 (DB9) for standardized CAN connections
- 4 GPIO pins (2 inputs, 2 outputs) – only on Lab CAN
- Operating voltage +7 V to +28 V DC (Nominal ≈ 12 V) – only for Lab CAN/Storage CAN
- Reverse voltage and transient protection on the supply
- Automotive-grade I/O with ESD and overvoltage protection
- Thermal protection for GPIO input controllers
- Ground pins internally connected; ground recommendation for CAN bus
- SLSS CANAnalyser Pro Software Support (Lab CAN / Storage CAN)
- Test platform integration via TCP/IP; support for C++, Python, Lua
- Operating temperature range −40 °C to +85 °C
The Lab CAN Pro (STSLCP10) is designed for developers, test engineers, and test benches requiring reliable CAN communication with dedicated control and trigger functions. The device offers four GPIO pins (two inputs, two outputs) for connecting external measurement and control signals, as well as internal protection mechanisms against overvoltage, reverse polarity, and electrostatic discharge. It operates on a +7 V to +28 V DC supply (nominal ≈ 12 V), making it suitable for use in laboratory and automotive test environments. SLSS CANAnalyser Pro software is available for logging and analysis (Lab CAN / Storage CAN only). Integration into automated test platforms is possible via TCP/IP interfaces and common programming languages such as C++, Python, and Lua. Practical applications include bus logging, troubleshooting, automated test sequences with GPIO control, and performance measurement of ECUs under laboratory conditions.
