audio-adapter

These are the only loopback plugs designed and manufactured specifically for audio port and headset port loopback testing. They were built using circuit specifications provided by Google.

The connectors can be used to measure round-trip latency and autocorrelation with software such as OboeTester.

If your PC or Android device does not have an audio port, the connector can be paired with a USB-C to 3.5mm audio adapter for testing (adapter not included).

OboeTester is free and open source software that can be used in conjunction with PassMark's Audio Loopback Plug to measure device latency and glitches on Android devices.

OboeTester can be downloaded directly from the Google Play Store. Alternatively, it can also be created in Android Studio. For instructions on how to download and run OboeTester in Android Studio, see the specs page.

With the sound test in BurnInTest, the loopback plug can be used to measure the distortion between audio input and audio output.

Results are displayed as comparison waveforms that provide a visual indication of distortion across the left and right channels.

Test your PC audio connection

These audio loopback plugs are designed and manufactured for audio loopback testing by connecting them to your Windows PC via the audio port.

Using the sound test in BurnInTest, the loopback connector can be used to measure the distortion between audio input and audio output.
