Hardware details
The SPS6000X series is a programmable DC switching power supply with a wide range of single output and constant power functions. This series includes two models, the SPS6225X and SPS6150X, with rated output voltages and currents of 200V / 25A and 100V / 50A, with a maximum output power of 1500W. Users can connect up to five SPS6000X chassis of the same model in parallel to expand the output power to meet different application requirements.SPS6000X series features a bright 3.12-inch OLED display, a user-friendly interface that enables easy control and power monitoring, and excellent power indicators. The minimum resolution is 10 mV / 10 mA. The rise times of output voltage and current are adjustable. The device has two output modes: constant voltage and constant current. It also supports list sequence programming mode for easy execution of voltage or current step profiles. For remote control operation, the SPS6000X has LAN/USB communication interfaces, an analogue control interface and convenient web browser control. It can be used in a variety of demanding test areas, such as general laboratory testing, the LED lighting industry, automotive electronics and other fields.

Wide input and output range
Under the condition of limited output power, the voltage and current ranges are switched automatically, and a variety of voltage and current output combinations can be realised with one power supply. As shown in the figure on the right, two traditional rectangular output power supplies can only realise one voltage and current output combination, while one power supply can output more parameters in the arc range. Compared with the traditional rectangular output range, the power supply provides a wider voltage and current output range, which greatly improves the utilisation of the power supply.

Adjustable rise/fall rates for output voltage and current
The SPS6000X power supply supports customised up/down adjustment of the voltage/current ramp, allowing the performance of the object being measured to be checked during the voltage/current change. The slope of voltage rise/fall ranges from 0.001~4V/ms and the slope of current rise/fall ranges from 0.001~2.4A/ms, which can effectively avoid the damage of the DUT by the inrush current in special applications such as testing capacitors and high current absorbing devices. Reduce the damage of inrush current to the load under test.

Efficient and convenient remote control
The SPS6000X is equipped with a USB and LAN communication interface and an optional USB-GPIB module. With the embedded web server function, the device can be remotely controlled via a browser without the need to install complicated driver software and host computer software, which meets the requirements of high-pressure, high-temperature and other special environment applications.
Users can also store various types of files in internal and external memories, which can be read and retrieved when needed. All this is due to the modernised design language of the SPS6000X, which brings a new quality of functionality to power supply products.

Multiple protection functions
CV/CC priority mode: Effectively limits the occurrence of inrush current and overshoot voltage.
Independent drain circuit: When the device is switched off and the load is disconnected, the drain circuit draws energy from the output filter capacitor. If there is no drain circuit, the output capacitor remains charged, which can be dangerous; the drain circuit can also be used to adjust the voltage drop.
Multiple strategic protection modes: The protection functions of the power supply include: over Current Protection (OCP), Over Voltage Protection (OVP) and Over Temperature Protection (OTP). When the power limit protection (LPP) is activated, the system starts the power limit mode and the maximum output power is about 102% of the rated power.
