Description

The TH9130/TH9130A/TH9131/TH9131A series are compact AC/DC insulation and dielectric strength testers (Withstanding Voltage/Insulation Resistance Tester) for laboratory and production testing. They enable AC and DC high voltage tests for testing the insulation properties of electronic components, cables, windings and other electrical devices, combined with insulation resistance measurement and arch detection. Interfaces such as HANDLER, RS232 and USB enable automation and integration into test sequences

Features

  • AC and DC withstand voltage tests: Adjustable from 0.05 kV to 1 kV AC and 0.05 kV to 6 kV DC.
  • Insulation resistance measurement: 1 MΩ-9999 MΩ with digital display and automatic discharge process at the end of the test
  • Arc Detection & Discharge: detection of arcs, automatic discharge after test.
  • Parameterisable ramp, rise and fall times: Freely adjustable, e.g. 0.1 s-999.9 s for rise/fall and test duration
  • Digital display & programmability: LCD display, storage of test programmes (5 groups internally), up to 100 test steps per programme.
  • Extensive interfaces: HANDLER, RS232, USB Device/Host for automatic control and data output.
  • Safety: Protective functions such as earth monitoring, safe output, automatic switch-off in the event of incorrect measurements.
  • User-friendliness: Clearly structured menus, multilingualism (including English/Chinese), shortcut keys, key lock.
  • Robust design: Protection against overload through internal protective circuits, temperature-dependent switch-off in the event of overheating

Applications

    • Testing dielectric strength (withstanding voltage) and insulation resistance on transformers, motor windings, cables, capacitors, power supply units and electronic modules.
    • Routine tests in production lines and laboratories for electrical appliances, industrial control, automotive and medical technology.
    • Research and development: Validation of insulation concepts, service life tests under high-voltage conditions.
    • Maintenance and servicing: localisation of insulation weaknesses in existing systems and components.
    • Safety tests in accordance with standards (e.g. IEC standards for high-voltage tests).
