Real-time capture and delayed download capture
The Beagle USB 480 Protocol Analyzer has two different acquisition modes: real-time acquisition and delayed download acquisition. With real-time capture mode, developers can view any high-speed data over USB as soon as it happens. Since the data is streamed in real time, the collection size is limited only by the amount of RAM available on the analysis computer.
Delayed download capture can be very useful in certain situations, e.g. B. when the Beagle USB 480 Protocol Analyzer is on the same high-speed bus as the target device. In these configurations, the Beagle analyzer can consume minimal USB bandwidth, not obscuring problems that only occur when the target is operating at full USB bandwidth.
Class-level USB decoding
Real-time USB class level decoding is available in Data Center software with the Beagle USB 480 Protocol AnalyzerHigh speed USB chip detection
The Beagle USB 480 Protocol Analyzer can capture and display the K and J chip patterns used in high speed negotiations and is able to reliably identify the correct speed of the monitored USB data.Hardware-based mail suppression
A hardware input filter is available to suppress packets in order to reduce the amount of data collected. The filter can remove empty packet pairs like IN/NAK and PING/NAK pairs.Digital I/O for synchronization
Four digital outputs are available for synchronizing the Beagle analyzer with oscilloscopes and logic analyzers. These digital outputs can match both patterns in the captured data and idle bus states.Detect bus events and unexpected signals
The Beagle USB 480 Protocol Analyzer can intelligently detect suspend and resume events as well as unexpected signals on the bus.Packet-level timing
Get packet-level timing with 16.67 ns resolution.Cost efficient and time saving
The Beagle USB 480 Protocol Analyzer comes complete with the software.
The low cost allows companies to provide each developer with their own analyzer, making it quick and easy to identify and fix problems.
Saving time means more productivity, projects are completed on time and on budget.
The Beagle USB 480 Protocol Analyzer is regularly supplied with updates via USB.
New software functions are always available promptly and can be downloaded free of charge.
