The SDG3082X dual-channel function generator offers a maximum output frequency of 80 MHz and a vertical resolution of 16 bits. This device has an excellent sampling system with a sampling rate of 1.2 GSa/s.

Hardware details
Based on traditional DDS technology, it utilises innovative TrueArb and EasyPulse technologies that overcome the inherent shortcomings of DDS technology in the output of arbitrary waves and square waves/pulses, providing users with high-resolution signals with low jitter. In addition, the SDG3000X offers PRBS pattern, sequence, double pulse and vector signal generation capabilities to meet a wider range of application requirements.

Modulation
Extensive modulation functions that support common AM/DSB-SC/FM/PM/ASK/FSK/PSK/PWM modulation methods. Two modulation sources are available: internal and external.

Burst
Supports two burst modes: N-cycle and gating. Three trigger sources are available: internal, external and manual.

Sweep
Supports three sweep modes: frequency, amplitude and frequency and amplitude, making it easier to perform frequency and amplitude sweep tests. Supports three sweep types: linear, logarithmic and stepwise and three sweep directions: up, down and up/down. Three trigger sources are available: internal, external and manual.

Counter
When the counter is in frequency counter mode, it can be used to measure the frequency, period and duty cycle of a signal. The measuring range is between 0.1 Hz and 200 MHz. In totaliser mode, the specified trigger events can be counted.

Innovative EasyPulse technology
When a square/pulse waveform is generated by DDS, single-ended jitter occurs if the sampling rate is not an integer multiple of the output frequency. EasyPulse technology successfully overcomes this weakness of DDS designs and contributes to the generation of square/pulse waveforms with low jitter.

Powerful sequence playback function
Provides a flexible sequence playback function to easily handle various scenario tests. The maximum waveform storage depth of each channel is 40 Mpts. The number of cycles for each waveform and the order of waveform playback can be easily set. Up to 1024 segments are supported. During playback, the currently playing segment can also be displayed, allowing you to control the test. Five operating modes: continuous, triggered, burst, single and extended. In extended operating mode, you can set the trigger mode for each segment. Four trigger sources are available: "Auto", "External", "Manual" and "Timer".

Integrated multiple pulse function
The integrated dual pulse output function in combination with Siglent's oscilloscope enables fast measurement of switching parameters and dynamic characteristics of power devices without the need for host computer software. Supports up to 30 pulses, each pulse width and pulse interval can be set. Four trigger sources are available: "Internal", "External", "Manual" and "Timer".

Customisable output of polynomial PRBS patterns
Provides multiple pattern outputs from PRBS3 to PRBS32 with a maximum bit rate of up to 120 Mbps. In addition to outputting single-ended signals, the two channels can also be set to differential output. In addition to using the integrated PRBS generator polynomial, you can also customise the PRBS generator polynomial to make the test more flexible.

Vector signal output
The SDG3000X supports baseband or IF signals and can generate IQ signals of common modulation types such as ASK, FSK, PSK, QAM, etc. The SDG3000X achieves excellent EVM performance at any symbol rate in the range from 250 Symb/s to 50 MSymb/s. The integrated digital orthogonal modulator can modulate the IQ signal to any frequency in the range of 200 MHz.
