Description

Professional 4-channel CAN FD interface for live streaming and diagnostics. The device offers galvanically isolated CAN channels, USB and Ethernet interfaces, and an integrated webCAN interface. With a built-in LCD (160×80 px), configurable hardware filters, silent mode, and support for fault and remote frames, the CANsub.4 is designed for test benches, development tasks, and field diagnostics. Open REST and WebSocket APIs, as well as libraries for Python and common analysis tools, enable easy automation and integration.

The CANsub.4 is a compact, robust interface for sending and receiving CAN/CAN FD data in real time. Four galvanically isolated channels allow parallel access to multiple bus systems; the connection to the computer is via USB or Ethernet for network applications and remote access via local routers. The webCAN app, hosted on the device, provides DBC decoding, real-time plots, and a trace view with up to millions of historical frames. Transmit jobs with edge-based timing can be configured for automated processes. Typical applications include vehicle diagnostics, OEM development, test bench automation, and field service. The compact design, 1 µs timestamp resolution, and a throughput of over 20,000 frames/s ensure precise, deterministic measurements even under high bus loads. Adapter cables (DB25 to 4×DB9) and optional PoE power supply expand connectivity options without requiring on-site software installation.
