Hardware details
SIGLENT's SDG1000X Plus series dual-channel function/arbitrary waveform generator with a maximum bandwidth of 60 MHz features excellent sampling system indicators with a sampling rate of 1GSa/s and a vertical resolution of 16 bits. Based on traditional DDS technology, the innovative TrueArb and EasyPulse technologies are used to overcome the inherent shortcomings of DDS technology in the output of arbitrary waves and square waves/pulses. It can provide users with high fidelity and low jitter signals. In addition, the SDG1000X Plus also offers PRBS pattern generation, sequence wave output and double pulse output to fulfil a wider range of application requirements.

Powerful sampling system
Thanks to a 1GSa/s and 16-bit sampling system, the SDG1000X Plus achieves extremely high accuracy in both the time and amplitude domain, resulting in more accurate reconstructed waveforms and less distortion.

Innovative EasyPulse technology
When a square/pulse waveform is generated with DDS, one-clock jitter occurs if the sampling rate is not an integer multiple of the output frequency. The SDG1000X Plus EasyPulse technology overcomes this weakness in DDS designs and helps to generate square/pulse waveforms with low jitter.

Innovative TrueArb technology
For arbitrary signals, TrueArb not only provides all the benefits of traditional DDS, but also eliminates the likelihood of DDS causing serious jitter and distortion. TrueArb generates arbitrary waveforms point by point and never skips a point, so it can reconstruct all the details of the waveform as defined.

Powerful arbitrary waveform generation capability
Provides a sequence playback function to easily fulfil various testing requirements. The maximum storage depth for waveforms reaches 8 Mpts/channel.

Sequence playback function
Easily set the number of cycle times for each waveform and the order of waveform playback. Three operating modes: continuous, burst and single. Three trigger sources are available: 'internal', 'external' and 'manual'.

Built-in multi-pulse output function
The built-in double-pulse output function, combined with the Siglent oscilloscope, can quickly measure the switching parameters and dynamic characteristics of power devices without the need for host computer software.

PRBS pattern output
Provides PRBS3 ~ PRBS32 multiple pattern outputs, the rate is arbitrarily adjustable between 10-6 bps ~ 40 Mbps, and the edge is arbitrarily adjustable between 10 ns ~ 1us.

Modulation
Comprehensive modulation functions that support the common AM/DSB-AM/ FM/ PM/ ASK/ FSK/ PSK/ PWM modulation methods. Optional internal and external modulation sources.

Burst
Supports two burst modes: N-cycle and gating.
Three trigger sources are available: internal, external and manual.

Sweep
Supports two sweep modes, frequency and amplitude, to easily perform frequency and amplitude sweep tests.
