The SDS5000HD-4BW3TA is a software-based option for 4-channel models of the SDS5000X HD series, increasing the analog bandwidth from 350 MHz to 1 GHz. It is delivered as a licensed activation; upon purchase, an authorization code is provided to generate and install the manufacturer's option key. No physical modifications to the instrument are required, minimizing downtime. Once activated, users benefit from improved detail resolution on fast edges, better overshoot and ringing detection, and enhanced analysis of GHz-class signals. Combined with the series' standard sampling rate (up to 5 GSa/s) and high vertical resolution, this option is well-suited for development and testing applications in high-speed serial, RF front-end analysis, and signal integrity.
