Description
The Advanced Cable Tester v2 Connection Module: USB Type-C to USB 3.1 Standard-B enables testing of cables with USB 3.2 / USB 3.1 / USB 2.0 Type-C on one end and USB 3.1 Standard-B on the other end of the cable. This module has a USB Type-C female connector and a USB Standard B female connector and can only be used with the Advanced Cable Tester v2.
Key Features
- Measure the DC resistance of VBUS and GND cables individually
- Measure the DC resistance of the VBUS and GND pins on the USB Type-C connector individually
- Make sure the wiring is correct and that no wires are shorted or broken
- Make sure Rd is the correct value
- USB 2.0 pair testing is supported at around 518Mbps, and all existing SuperSpeed pairs are tested at 5Gbps or 10Gbps
