The Advanced Cable Tester v2 Connection Module: USB 3.1 Standard-A to USB 3.1 Micro-B allows you to test cables with USB 3.2 / USB 3.1 / USB 2.0 Standard-A on one end and USB Micro-B on the other end of the cable. This module has 1 USB 3.1 Standard-A jack and 1 USB 3.1 Micro-B jack. Each module uses a proprietary finger style connector that can only be used with the Advanced Cable Tester v2.
Key Features
- Measure the DC resistance of VBUS and GND cables individually
- Measure the DC resistance of the VBUS and GND pins on the USB Type-C connector individually.
- Make sure that the wiring is correct and that no wires are shorted or broken
- Testing USB 2.0 pairs is supported at about 518 MBit / s, and all existing SuperSpeed pairs are tested at 5 Gbit / s or 10 Gbit / s.
