Description
The Advanced Cable Tester v2 Connection Module: USB Type-C to MFi Lightning USB2 enables testing of cables with USB 2.0 Type-C on one cable end and Apple Lightning USB2 on the other cable end with the Total Phase Advanced Cable Tester v2.
This module features an Apple Lightning connector and a USB Type-C connector and can only be used with the Advanced Cable Tester v2.
Key Features
- Make sure the Lightning connector is turned on
- Measure the DC resistance of VBUS and GND cables individually
- In the USB Type-C connector, measure the DC resistance of the VBUS and GND pins individually
- Make sure the wiring is correct and that no wires are shorted or broken
- Signal integrity testing of USB 2.0 pairs is supported at around 518 Mbps
Quiescent power test passed/failed reported - Surge test passed / reported failed
- Voltage recovery test passed/failed
- This is all you need to test USB Type-C to Lightning USB2 cables
