Description
The TravelScope DSO3000 from ACUTE Technology is not only a PC USB oscilloscope, it is also a digital voltmeter, a function generator and can be transformed into a mixed-signal oscilloscope (MSO) in conjunction with a logic analyser from the TravelLogic series.
The PC oscilloscope series "TravelScope 3000" from ACUTE Technology achieves a real-time sampling of maximum 1GS/s. The vertical bandwidth is 200MHz. The vertical bandwidth is 200MHz (1-channel), 100MHz/channel (2-channel) and 50Mhz (4-channel) with a vertical sensitivity of 2mV/div to 10V/div and a resolution of 8-bit to 16-bit (TS3124H+V), which is unusual in this instrument class. In rolling mode, depending on the PC, a maximum of 250kS/s can be achieved. The TravelLogic oscilloscopes are designed for an overvoltage range of 100V (DC+AC peak) and have an offset range of ±1.5V to ±150V. The switchable 250MHz probes (x1/x10) are included. Depending on the model, Rising, Falling, Alternate, Either, Single, Delay, Edge, Width, Video/TV, Advanced Trigger 2 and Bus Trigger (ARINC 429, CAN, I²C, LIN, MIL-STD-1553, ProfiBus, SPI (2-Wire), UART, USB1.1, ...) are available which can be triggered automatically, manually or "single" with an additional RUN/STOP button on the DSO box. The massive buffer memory of 128 MSamples (TS3124E/F+B+H) in single-channel mode and 2 x 64 MSamples in dual-channel mode allows signal acquisition over a long time base. ACUTE's new ADP1025, ADP2025, ADP1100 and ADP2100 active differential probes are optimally matched to the TravelScope series at 25MHz and 100MHz, see product information. Unlike other PC oscilloscopes in this performance class, the TravelScopes do not require an external power supply thanks to power supply via the USB3.0 port and can therefore be used with laptops and notebooks on the move without restrictions.
Features
- PC-based, USB3.0 interface / powered (Type-A / Type-C)
- Recording length: 128 Mpts/channel
- Channel: 4
- Sampling rate: 1 GS/s
- Bandwidth: 200 MHz
- Data logger (HDD/SSD memory)
- Digital voltmeter: 3 digits
- Frequency counter: 5 digits
Up to 16 channels cascadable with SyncClock input
using the integrated stack cable, up to 4 x TravelScopes of the same model can be connected to each other in hardware with the current software and then provide either up to 4 inputs with 1GS/s each per input, up to 8 inputs with 500MS/s each or up to 16 inputs with 250MS/s each per input. The jitter is ±1ns in multiple single-channel mode and ±2ns in multiple dual-channel mode between the master and slave channels. The TS3000 series PC scopes are equipped with a special 10MHz SyncClock input. When using the SyncClock input, the jitter is reduced to approx. 100ps and no input is lost as a trigger input
Voltmeter (DVM) + frequency counter
The PC Oscilloscope TS3124B+H is additionally equipped with a 5-digit voltmeter (DVM) and a 5-digit frequency counter.
TS3124H+V DSO with selectable vertical resolution up to 16-bit + Electrical Validation (V)
The TS3124H+V (High-Resolution) PC Oscilloscopes from ACUTE Technology's TravelScope series are equipped with a reconfigurable A/D converter. This allows 8, 12, 14, 15 or 16-bit vertical resolution to be selected as required. The TS3124V also features "Electrical Validation", see data sheet.
Internet Monitoring
The TravelScope can also communicate as a WLAN-based DSO via the "Internet Monitoring" function (TCP/IP). WORD, EXCEL, CSV, TEXT, HTML, Clipboard, Hardcopy and Preview are implemented as export formats.
I/O port + function generator
An I/O port 3.3V TTL with >8ns trigger pulses as well as a data logger mode and an integrated 2-channel function generator with modulation, sweep and burst function offer a wide range of possible applications.
MSO - Mixed Signal Oscilloscope
In combination with the 4GHz logic analysers TravelLogic TL3000, a powerful mixed-signal oscilloscope can be realised.
Other functions
Vertical offset
TravelScope offset ranges:
- 150 V @ 2, 5, 10 V/div,
- ±15 V @ 0.2, 0.5, 1 V/div,
- ±1.5 V @ 2, 5, 10, 20, 50, 100 mV/div.
The vertical offset can be used to check small changes in the input signal, which can improve the accuracy of the measurement. The input scale of the TravelScope is 2mV/div to 10V/div
FFT signal analysis
The TS3000 Series Travelscopes offer numerous maths functions including an FFT signal analysis function.
In addition to a variety of measurement methods, mathematical calculations including extensive FFT analysis methods are available (Rectangular, Blackman, Hann, Hamming, Harris, Triangular, Cosine, Lanczos, Gaussian - Vertical Scale: dBm RMS, dbV RMS, Linear RMS).
