Description
PGY-STG-PAXSPI Protocol Exerciser and Analyzer is the most feature-rich and comprehensive protocol validation product to validate, analyse and debug the XSPI/OSPI protocol layer. The PGY-STG-PAXSPI Protocol Analyzer supports the analysis of the XSPI protocol with a data rate of up to 250 MHz in DDR mode. The innovative active probe minimises the load on the DUT and allows protocol data to be captured without affecting the performance of the DUT. The PGY-STG-PA protocol analyser is the first in the industry to enable continuous streaming of protocol data to the host system.
With the PGY-STG-PAXSPI Protocol Analyzer, design and test engineers can test and debug the XSPI interface by recording the XSPI protocol activity from power-on state to full transmission while the device under test switches from one-lane to eight-lane mode, and analyse the protocol errors. This helps development and test engineers to troubleshoot and reduce time to market.
Features XSPI Protocol Exerciser and Analyser
- Provides the industry's best probing solutions for simultaneous acquisition of commands, responses and data in 1S-1S-1S and 8S-8S-8S modes.
- Data acquisition at 250MHz
- Continuous streaming of log data to the SSD/HDD of the host system over a long period of time
- Hardware-based protocol-controlled trigger function enables the capture of specific events
- On-the-fly protocol validation in the event of errors in the sequence of expected commands and responses
- Analytical information about commands, responses and data
- The analysis function enables the decoding of device registers for easy analysis
- Use the filter function to display specific packets in decoded protocol packets
- Search for specific events in the log activity
- Easy-to-use software user interfaces reduce the learning curve of protocol analysis
- The software is designed to capture long periods of time and display the decoded data without consuming extensive resources in the host computer
- A trigger output signal for a specific log event allows triggering of other instruments such as an oscilloscope
- Interface to the host system via USB3.0 interface
- The flexibility to update the hardware firmware allows easy upgrading of the firmware in the field
- Decoded data packets can be exported to a txt file for further analysis
- Upgradeable to support QSPI, eMMC, SD and SDIO protocol analysis
- Report generation
Advanced trigger functions
The PGY-STG-PA software supports auto, message and advanced trigger functions that allow the developer to capture elusive events with easy-to-set trigger events. The if-then-elseif trigger function monitors two trigger events and performs an action, such as monitoring another trigger event or capturing the log activity of the device under test.
