The SDS824X HD high-resolution digital storage oscilloscope is based on 2GSa/s, 12-bit analogue-to-digital converters and front-ends with excellent noise suppression. The storage oscilloscope has a bandwidth of 200 MHz, a maximum recording length of 100 Mpts and can display 4 analogue channels + 16 digital channels for mixed signal analysis.

Hardware details
The SDS800X-HD series uses Siglent's SPO technology with a maximum waveform capture rate of up to 120,000 wfm/s (normal mode, up to 500,000 wfm/s in sequence mode), a 256-step intensity gradation display function and a colour temperature display mode. It also features an innovative digital trigger system with high sensitivity and low jitter. The trigger system supports several powerful trigger modes, including serial bus triggering. Tools such as history waveform recording, search and navigation functions, mask test, bode plot, power analysis and enable the acquisition, storage and analysis of extensive waveform recordings. An impressive range of measurement and maths functions, options for a 25 MHz arbitrary waveform generator and serial decoding are further features of the SDS800X-HD series.
The 7-inch capacitive touch screen supports multi-touch gestures and also offers a user-friendly UI design that significantly improves the efficiency of operation. It also supports mouse control and web remote control via LAN

High waveform update rate
With a waveform update rate of up to 120,000 wfm/s, the oscilloscope can easily capture unusual or unlikely events. In sequence mode, the waveform capture rate can reach 500,000 wfm/s.
Deep record length
With hardware-based zoom technology and a record length of up to 100 Mpts, the user can select a slower time base without compromising the sampling rate and then quickly zoom in to focus on the area of interest.
Multiple trigger functions
Edge, slope, pulse width, video, window, run, interval, dropout, pattern, qualified, Nth edge, delay, set-up/hold time and serial trigger.
Extended mathematical function
In addition to the traditional operations (+, -, X, /), FFT, integration, differential, square root and more are supported. A formula editor is available for more complex operations. There are 4 mathematical tracks available.
Measurements of a variety of parameters
The parameter measurements include 4 categories: Horizontal, Vertical, Miscellaneous and CH Delay, allowing a total of more than 50 different types of measurements. Measurements can be performed within a specific gate period. Measurements on maths, reference and history frames are supported.
History mode
The history function can record up to 80,000 images of waveforms. Recording is automatic, so the customer can replay the history waveforms at any time to observe unusual events and quickly locate the area of interest using the cursors or measurements.
Sequence mode
Segmented memory capture stores the waveform in multiple memory segments (up to 80,000) and each segment stores a triggered waveform and the dead time information. The interval between segments can be up to 2μs. All segments can be played back using the history function.
Searching and navigating
The oscilloscope can search for events specified by the user in a frame. Events marked by the search can be called up automatically with Navigate. It can also navigate by time (delay position) and history frame.
Serial bus decoding
Display of decoded characters via the event list. Bus protocol information can be displayed quickly and intuitively in tabular form. I2C, SPI, UART, CAN, LIN are supported.
Digital channels / MSO (optional)
Four analogue channels and 16 digital channels allow the user to capture and trigger the waveforms and then analyse the pattern simultaneously with an instrument.
Bode Plot
The SDS800XHD can control the USB AWG module or an independent SIGLENT SDG instrument, scan the amplitude and phase frequency response of a device and display the data as a Bode plot. There is also a Vari-Level mode for accurate measurement of the Power Supply Control LoopResponse (PSRR).
Power analysis (optional)
The Power Analysis option provides a full range of power measurements and analyses that significantly improve measurement efficiency in the development of switching power supplies and power devices.
Parameter statistics function
Statistics show the current value, the maximum value, the minimum value, the standard deviation and the mean value. A histogram is available to display the probability distribution of a parameter. For horizontal parameters such as the period, all results are extracted from a frame instead of just calculating the first one. This significantly speeds up the statistics for horizontal measurements and allows you to observe the distribution in a frame with histogram and track.
Hardware-based high-speed mask test function
The oscilloscope has a hardware-based mask test function that makes up to 80,000 pass/fail decisions per second. It is easy to create customised test templates to enable mask comparisons, making it suitable for long-term signal monitoring or automatic testing of production lines.
USB AWG module (optional)
The USB waveform generator can output waveforms with up to 25 MHz frequency and ±3 V amplitude. Six basic waveforms as well as several types of predefined waveforms and user-defined arbitrary waveforms are supported.
