The SSG3021X-IQE Plus is a professional RF signal generator covering 9 kHz to 2.1 GHz in CW mode and 10 MHz to 2.1 GHz in IQ mode. Designed for R&D, production, service, and education, it combines optimized phase-noise, wideband-noise, and pulse performance with precise output control, analog and pulse modulation, and external I/Q modulation for generating vector signals and multi-tone signals.

- 9 kHz–2.1 GHz CW frequency range and 10 MHz–2.1 GHz IQ frequency range
- 0.01 Hz frequency resolution for precise frequency setting
- −110 dBm to +20 dBm level setting range, depending on frequency
- ≤0.7 dB level accuracy (typ.) and 0.01 dB level resolution
- Low phase noise: −117 dBc/Hz at 1 GHz, 20 kHz offset (typ.)
- External IQ modulation with I/Q baseband inputs for vector and multi-tone signal generation
- Supports external baseband bandwidth of I or Q <100 MHz (typ.) and RF (I+Q) <200 MHz (typ.)
- AM/FM/PM and pulse modulation with internal and external modulation sources
- Optional high-stability OCXO and pulse train generator
- Built-in power meter control for power calibration and cable-loss compensation
- USB, LAN, and optional GPIB interfaces for integration into automated test systems
- 5-inch, 800 × 480 touchscreen with dedicated IQ, modulation, and sweep controls
